This Cookie Policy explains how SaleSage uses cookies and similar technologies (collectively, "cookies") when you visit our website and use the Service. It explains what these technologies are, why we use them, and your rights to control their use.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device when you visit a website. They are widely used to make websites work, to make them work more efficiently, and to provide information to the site owner. Similar technologies include local storage, session storage, and pixel tags; we treat them all as "cookies" for the purposes of this policy.
2. Categories of Cookies We Use
2.1 Strictly necessary
Required to operate the Service. These cannot be turned off. Examples: authentication session, CSRF token, language preference, sidebar collapsed state.
2.2 Security
Help detect malicious behavior and protect signup, sign-in, and form submissions from bots. Examples: Cloudflare Turnstile challenge tokens.
2.3 Functional
Remember choices you make to give you a better experience. Examples: theme preference, last selected workspace, sidebar collapsed state.
2.4 Analytics and product
Help us understand which features are used and where users encounter errors so we can improve the Service. Examples: PostHog product analytics (if enabled), Google Analytics (if enabled), Sentry error-monitoring identifiers.
3. Cookies We Set

4. First-Party vs. Third-Party
Cookies set by trysalesage.com are first-party. Cookies set by our sub-processors (such as Stripe, Cloudflare Turnstile, Sentry, or PostHog) on their own domains are third-party. Each of those providers maintains its own privacy and cookie notice.
5. Managing Your Preferences
You can accept or reject non-essential cookies using the consent banner that appears the first time you visit. You can change your choice at any time by clearing your cookie consent in browser settings, which will cause the banner to reappear. Most browsers also let you block or delete cookies through their settings — note that blocking strictly necessary cookies will break sign-in and other core features.
6. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Cookie Policy to reflect changes to the cookies we use or for other operational, legal, or regulatory reasons. Where required, we will surface an in-app cookie-consent prompt before any new cookie is set.
For the initial publication of this document on the effective date shown at the top of the page, posting on this page constitutes notice. For future material changes, we will notify workspace owners by email to the workspace owner address on file or by an in-app notice before the change takes effect, and we will update the "Last updated" date to reflect the new revision.
